Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists are trained to assess an individual’s ability to function independently with a minimum of stress and fatigue. Occupational therapists are experts in the area of adaptive strategies, tools and devices to enable individuals with orthopedic or neurological impairments to maximize their independence in performing the activities of daily living. Most hand therapy specialists are occupational therapists with additional specialized training and certification.

Occupational therapists also specialize in services for children with neuro-sensory, developmental or educational challenges.

Occupational and hand therapy is available at most Burger Physical Therapy locations. Pediatric therapy is provided at the Burger Pediatric Therapy Center.
